If you’re in San Diego on a third Thursday, you won’t want to miss Mantra, an alternative spiritual service with music by Karl Anthony at The Unity Center.

Karl and his wife Jeanne are a dynamic musical team. They have a remarkable style of communicating with Karl’s original music and Jeanne’s amazing performance of American sign language. Whenever I go to one of their events, I experience a heart chakra-opening connection.

You Gotta Love Mantra

The sacred space created at Mantra is even more spectacular. Karl and Jeanne are supported with with beautiful “Laser Bliss Lights” by Dana Darcel. Mantra also features inspirational readings and guided meditations lead by Wendy Craig-Purcell. Reverend Craig-Purcell is the founder, CEO and Senior Minister of The Unity Center in San Diego.

The next Mantra event is scheduled for November 19, 2009. The theme is “simplicity”. Learn more at Karl’s site. He has detailed schedule information and directions for Mantra.
