My experience with yoga healing
Many people have found yoga meditation and practice to be healing. My years of yoga practice paid off when I experienced a two-and-a-half year period of injury, illness and surgeries. I practiced very mild forms of yoga exercise but kept up my meditation practice. Then I ran into a wall, and I didn’t know what to do when my energy depleted and my spirits sank, except to keep on practicing meditation.
I was inspired by an article I read during that most difficult time by a woman who spoke of a similar experience. She also found she could not return to her pre-accident energy levels. And through perseverance, and without expecting it, she too found that the subtle yet powerful inner levels of yoga lead her to new understandings about her body and her spirit.
