Meditation retreats as distant healing

Did you know that distant healing, or non-local healing, uses meditation methods? It’s been practiced since ancient times by Far Eastern healers and teachers as a spiritual healing art form. And mystics in many of the world traditions have long recognized distant healing, using it as part of their meditative practice.
Meditation has been called many things including, “practicing the presence”. And when used to heal, by laying on hands or as distant contemplation, it’s truly practicing the presence of oneness. People know from the core of being that each of us is one with all life. And without needing it confirmed by quantum physicists who recognize this as fact: that we’re connected.
Today, energy healing modalities like distant healing are widely practiced in the West in response to patients’ preference. As we’ve witnessed Western medicine integrating with traditional Eastern medicine, we’ve also seen the advent of clinical trials on the efficacy of energy medicine, including distant healing 1.
Distant healing is something you can do too; and you probably already do this for your loved ones and others. So what does it have to do with a TeleMeditation Retreat?
I invite you to discover that for yourself. There’s nothing like the positive energy you create with others of like-mind and heart. There have even been studies proving the effects of joining in meditation as one group, united in purpose and intent, to heal oneself, others and the planet.
