Tell Me

tell meditation montage Tell MeWhat meditation or wisdom teachings are you studying?

As we share on the blog with comments and guest blogging, let’s spread a little of that old fashioned link-love around…

Some bloggers might be following search-engine optimization gurus who say it’s not good practice to let the engines link back to weblinks posted in comments. And WordPress has a built in ‘no-follow’ feature. But I’ve removed the ‘no-follow’ codes in the comments and on my links page.

I’ve also installed the free CommentLUV plug-in. That means the search engines will follow your comment link back to your own web page, and if you want to install the CommentLUV plugin, you get quality links back to your site every time you comment on a blog that also has this plug in.

But if you want to comment at the end of a post, you don’t need to provide your blog or web url–you don’t even need to have one. The form will require your email, but that’s never posted; it just proves you’re human not a spam robot. But my filters will weed out anything spam-my or irrelevant. But that shouldn’t be an issue since this blog is all about something we both love!

And if you do have a blog and you’d like to build more traffic with good links, get the free CommentLUV plugin.

After you activate CommentLUV on your blog, come back here to Meditation Montage and leave a comment on one of my blog posts. Then check the box next to the little heart logo under the comment area.

This will insert a link to your most recent blog post. The same thing happens when you comment on any other blog that also has the CommentLUV plugin activated. You’ll see the logo or a text notice posted underneath their comments too.

It’s so easy to set up and use, trust me, I would have yawned and passed it up otherwise, not being much of a geek! Here’s a good article explaining in more detail how this plugin works.
